A two-touchdown second quarter put the Trojans (6-1/2-0) on top 22-0 at halftime. The Warhawks (4-3/0-2) broke the shutout almost three minutes into the third quarter, but the Trojans answered four minutes later.

Class 5A

Quarterback Jake Holmes kept from a yard out and Ola (3-3/1-1) added the PAT with 55 seconds left to take the lead, and got a game-ending interception after the Greyhounds (4-3/2-1) had reached midfield. It was the Mustangs’ first win against Jones County in nine games. The Greyhounds have been plagued by injuries lately, including standout WR Zion Ragins, who was targeted only once and ran three times, also absent on special teams. QB Judd Anderson took a shot late and left the game, but was already alternating with Devin Edmonds. They teamed to go 14 of 30 for 182 yards and an interception.
