College analysts, brothers to speak at Macon Touchdown Club
Brent and Brett Beaird, college analysts and brothers who work in neighboring Georgia states, are this week’s speakers at the Macon Touchdown Club.
Samford head coach Chris Hatcher, a Macon native and Mount de Sales grad, is next week’s speaker.
The club meets at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, in the Rumford Center, at 304 Pierce Ave. It starts at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and the program to begin around 7. Admission for non-members is $30.
Geoff Collins of Georgia Tech was the scheduled speaker before his dismissal last Monday.
Brett Beaird co-hosts a sports talk show in Alabama. Brent is a part-time college analyst for WTLV/WTLX-TV in Jacksonville, Fla.
