Mary Persons’ home games Friday against Jackson were without fans, because of reports that retaliatory violence related to the recent shooting at the Wal Mart in Forysth was possible. The JV games were cancelled. Fans who bought tickets through GoFan can get a refund. Saturday’s home games against Howard are still on, varsity only, with the girls at noon and the boys to follow. Metal detectors will be employed.
