Henley hanging in at AmEx
Russell Henley had another good day and is seven shots back at the American Express Open in California.
Henley shot a 2-under 70 for a two-round 137, putting him in a tie for 47th with 10 others.
Patrick Cantlay did well against the wind and has a one-stroke lead.
Henley is seven shots back, after four-birdie, two-bogey round.
FVSU wins first men’s volleyball match in history

Mercer at home for doubleheader
It’ll be a full day of hoops at Hawkins with Mercer’s women and men at home.
The women play Wofford at 2:30 p.m., while the men host Western Carolina after.
Wofford comes in 8-9 overall and 3-0 in Southern Conference play, while Mercer is 11-6 and 4-1, off its first league loss, Thursday against Furman.
Mercer’s men are 11-8 and 4-2, while WCU is 8-11 and 2-4.
