Henley takes lead at Sony into final round
Maconite Russell Henley slipped back into a tie a few times on Saturday, but he regained the lead and has the top spot after three rounds of the Sony Open in Hawaii.
He birdied two of the final four holes, helping to counter two bogeys. Henley had two bogeys on Friday as well, after a bogey-free first round. He also had two eagles on Friday.
Henley tees off with second-place Hideki Matsuyama at 6:15 p.m. EST.

Thomaston to honor Travon Walker
The city of Thomaston will honor Upson-Lee graduate and Georgia starter Travon Walker on Tuesday. Festivities begin at 5:15 with a parade from Matthews Field to the courthouse square, fans encourage to wear proper team attire.
The program at the school’s fine arts center begins at 6:15 p.m., doors opening at 5:30 pm., and masks are required.
Upson-Lee legends Hugh Nall – a member of Georgia’s 1980 national championship team, and former assistant coach at Auburn – as well as Mike Cavan – part of a legendary Thomaston athletics family and still on the football administrative staff at Georgia - are part of the program.
