Houston County’s Steiner takes POW award at Auburn
Former Houston County standout Wesley Steiner is Auburn’s special teams player of the week for his play in the Tigers’ 60-10 rout of Akron.
The 6-0, 229-pound junior had two tackles Saturday, though Auburn’s stats didn’t designated if they were on defense or special teams. Steiner played in nine games last year and recorded three tackles.
Former Dublin star Romello Height had three tackles.
