Macon Touchdown Club honors trio

          The Macon Touchdown Club picked three winners for the latest players of the week, honored Monday night.

          Co-back: Covenant senior running back Jackson Freel ran 17 times for 135 yards and five touchdowns, adding a catch for 21 yards and a score, plus six tackles in the Rams’ 40-14 win over Vidalia Heritage.

          Co-back: Stratford junior Keondre Glover carried eight times for 103 yards and two scores, caught apass for 38 yards, returned a punt for 18 yards and a kickoff for 84 yards, along with two tackles in the Eagles’ 34-7 win over Mount Paran Christian.

          Lineman: Tattnall junior defensive end Zavion Hardy had four solo tackles, three assists, and two tackles for loss in the Trojans’ win over Savannah Country Day.
