There had been no word on social media or elsewhere from any of the involved teams or Bibb County until Central head coach Joaquin Sample retweeted mid-morning Tuesday a post from the team's recruiting Twitter account that the Chargers were, in fact, playing at Pacelli.
Bibb County athletics director Barney Hester confirmed the changes in a text message when contacted, and added that Rutland's game with Luella was moving to the Ed DeFore Sports Complex.
Peach County's game at Griffin is postponed as well.
Monday, COVID issues in Macon led to the postponement of Northside's visit to play Howard.
The Bibb County School District announced Tuesday afternoon that it is transitioning to asynchronous learning for two weeks across the district starting on Sept. 7. A release from the district said that extracurricular activities and athletics will continue as scheduled.
Tattnall announced Tuesday night that Pike County was having to cancel Friday's game - which was a substitute for ACE cancelling with Tattnall - because of COVID issues.
