Henley finishes strong at BMW
His season might be over, but Russell Henley went out with some momentum.
After three above-70 rounds that eliminated him from a chance at making The Tour Championship field, Henley shot a 5-under 67 Sunday at the BMW Championship in Maryland.
That put him at a 3-under 285 for the tournament, tied for 60th, a jump of nine spots from Saturday, when he was in last place.
Phil Mickelson and Kevin Kisner were among the bottom four. Seven golfers of 69 finished 20-under or better.
Henley had six birdies and one bogey, on 17, sandwiched between two birdies.
