Around/About Central Georgia
Henley steady in Northern Trust
Russell Henley has watched early-round leads fall apart lately.
Maybe he has things in the right spot now.
The Stratford and Georgia grad shot a 2 under 69 Thursday in the first round of the Northern Trust, the first playoff of the PGA.
He is tied for 15th, six shots back of Justin Thomas and Jon Rahm.
Henley had bogeys on 1 and 10 to go with four birdies.
He tees off Friday at 12:33 p.m., with Paul Casey and Webb Simpson on No. 10.
