Macon’s 3-2 lead after three was erased in the fifth and the loss clinched with three runs in the eighth by Savannah.
Ashton Roy had three of Macon’s eight hits, and Tattnall grad Logan Fink drove in two runs.
The teams play in Savannah on Wednesday.
