ACE 21, GMC 5

            The Gryphons improved to 20-4 after getting 15 runs in the first. Blake Smith and Chandler Mitchell drove in four runs each, Smith on three hits – two doubles - with three runs and Mitchell with a grand slam. Lem Thompson had three hits, Zane Johnson two hits and three RBI, and JD Lewis and Gavin West added two hits each. Christian Black had two hits for GMC.

Bleckley County 16, Southwest 1; Bleckley County 17, Southwest 0

            Brody Little and Eli Mullis combined for a three-inning no-hitter. Ethan Hulsey had three hits and four RBI at leadoff, and nine teammates had a hit, J.R. Fordham, Mullis, and Caleb Senters driving in two runs each. Conner Senters had the only two-hit game in the nightcap, with nine teammates again getting one hit. Senters and Carter Brannon struck out five with no walks in the three-inning game.

Eastside 13, Jones County 9

            Eastside took an 8-1 lead after one, and kept the Greyhounds at arm’s length, despite five errors. John Alan Richter and Kendal Wood had two hits and two RBI each for the Greyhounds.

Northside 16, Peach County 15

            Northside led 5-0, then trailed 6-5, then led 12-11 after the top of the seventh only for Peach County to tie it in the bottom half. The Eagles then outscored the Trojans 4-3 in the eighth. Cam Staten drove in three runs in the top of the eighth with a one-out triple, the other run coming a batter later on Hunter Johnson’s groundout to second. Peach County’s first three hitters in the bottom half reached, but Drew Bailey was thrown out at home by left fielder Doug Sapp. A Colter Ginn single, an error, and double by Andrew Cliett brought in the runs..  The tying run was stranded on second. Staten had three hits, three runs, and three RBI and Johnson two and three for the Eagles. Drew Rice and Dalton Cohen had two hits and two runs each. Bryce Harrelson and Michael Kovitch had three hits each for the Trojans, Bailey and Cliett with two hits and two RBI each.

Perry 17, Baldwin 1

            Jonah Wynn and Daniel Vandivear teamed for an efficient five-inning no-hitter, Vandivear with four strikeouts and no walks in two innings. Garrett Davis had four RBI on three doubles for 19-3 Perry, with two-hit games from Tanner Knowles (two RBI), Lane Rucker, Tyler Newhouse (two RBI), and Dylan Butler.
