Crawford County 4, Peach County 3

The Eagles were blanked after taking a 1-0 first-inning lead. Then came the bottom of the seventh. Crawford County cut the 3-1 lead in half on a fielder’s choice grounder that scored Kenneth Taylor for the second out. Two hit batters later, Brennan Hudson singled to center to bring in Pate Spires and Blake Bishop to win it. Taylor had two of the Eagles’ four hits. Bryce Harrelson had two hits for the Trojans.

Jones County 5, Warner Robins 3

The Greyhounds scored three in the fourth to take the lead for good. John Alan Richter had two of the Hounds’ six hits. Pitchers Austin May and Bailey Taylor teamed for 11 strikeouts and three walks for Jones County. Cooper Avery and Nik Bukner had a pair of hits for the Demons.

Perry 10, Schley County 2

Tyler Newhouse and Carson Bryant each had three hits and three RBI to lead the Panthers, who led 8-0 after two innings. Tanner Knowles and Garrett Davis had two hits each.

Stratford 3, Tattnall 1

The Trojans’ late rally, a shutout-breaking run in the seventh, was squelched by reliever Lawson Cole, who got the save in relief of Micah Takac by getting the final out on a grounder after getting the second out and then surrendering a run-scoring triple to DJ Willis. Clay Rowland had two hits for Tattnall, which got seven strikeouts and a walk in a losing four-hit game from Carter Fink.

Veterans 14, Northside 2

Eight runs in the third were more than what Veterans needed, thanks to seven Northside errors and seven walks, teaming for 11 unearned runs. Mark Lauritsen drove in three runs for the Warhawks, who got a one-hitter from Hunter Dryden, Ty Tyson, and Joseph Lashley.
