Howard 14, Spalding 8
Momentum from an 8-0 lead after two slowed, and the Huskies advantage dropped to 9-8 until some late offense. Andrew Garnett had four hits and Trevor Grimes three for the Huskies, Grimes with three RBI. Kevin Thompson and Khalil Lavender had two hits, Thompson driving in four runs. Garnett and Lee Martin each struck out nine for Howard.
Jasper County/Monticello 14, Jackson 4
Late six-running innings put it away for the Hurricanes. Justyn Fields, Baylor Edge, and Cole Hayes had two hits each for Jasper County, Edge with three RBI and Fields and Hayes with two each.
Jones County 8, Ola 2
Aiden Payne and John Alan Richter led the Greyhounds with two hits each while Keagan Baxter drove in two runs. Jacob Thompson took the complete-game win.
Mary Persons 11, McIntosh 6
The Bulldogs went from 2-0 and 5-4 deficits to a 10-5 lead with six in the fourth. Eric Snow, Thomas Willingham had two hits each, Snow and Thorn Anderson with three RBI and Caden Swancey two.
Taylor County 4, Crawford County 3
The Vikings went up 3-1 after one and stayed up. Rett Harris had two hits and Cody Harris two RBI for the Vikings, Harris getting the complete-game win. Levi Hammock struck out 13 and Derontae Stewart had three hits in a losing cause.
Trinity Christian 5, Bulloch 4
Upson-Lee 18, Peach County 1
A 12-spot in the second sealed it for the Knights in three innings. Austin Hendricks had three hits and five RBI, while Jordan Wainwright, Jackson Blakeley, and Steven Marriage had two hits apiece. Wainwright had three RBI and three runs, Marriage also scoring three times.
West Laurens 17, Westside 0
Sean Gorney was perfect on the hill for the three innings the game lasted, striking out five and needing only 35 pitches. Six Westside errors and two wild pitches helped lead to 15 unearned runs. Trace Woodard had three hits and five RBI and Eli Floyd drove in four runs with two hits for the Raiders.
