GHSA wrestling: Jones County's Anderson alive for third, Class 5A roundup

Central Georgia has a shot at a third place in Class 5A at the GHSA state traditional wrestling championships, with four others still alive in consolations.
Jones County's Christian Anderson lost in a semifinal at 220.
Still alive: Jones County: Bryce Boland, 120; Gabriel Anderson, 182; Daniel Scott, 195; Veterans: Latrell Shafer, 138; Tanner Vorse, 152
Jones County (53.5) stands at 14th and Veterans (33.5) at 19th. Woodland-Cartersville (172.5) leads with Cass by 1.5 points.
Consolation action in 5A resumes Saturday morning.
Class 7A goes Friday afternoon. Consolations and finals in 4A and 6A start at 7 p.m. Friday night.
West Laurens’ Greyson Clark and Chase Horne along with Perry’s Shoshoni Williams will wrestle for Class 4A state titles.
