GHSA state cross country meet, Saturday: ACE takes second in boys, third in girls, GMC top 10 in both
ACE put four girls and five boys among the top 30 finishers in their respective sides to lead the Gryphons to finishes among the best in the GHSA state cross country meet Saturday.
Armuchee took the boys and girls titles in Class A Public, with ACE second in boys and third in girls. GMC's boys were seventh and girls eighth. Stratford's boys had a top-10 finish in Class A Private, finishing eighth.
Nathan Hallar of ACE had the top finish among Central Georgia runners, taking second in A Public boys, teammate Alex Tunnell fifth.
GMC's Jada Warren had the best performance of the day among Central Georgia girls with a third-place finish in A Public, FPD's Lillie Mealor taking eighth in A Private.
