GHSA coin toss favors top part of the bracket in semis
With some luck – well, wins – Central Georgia will host a Class AA semifinal game.
The GHSA’s coin flip for the semifinals if teams have the same seed favored the top part of the bracket.
Putnam County stays at home if it beats Fitzgerald, and Northeast travels no matter what. And the Raiders get either Putnam County or Fitzgerald.
Northside will travel if Dacula wins, host if fourth seed Johns Creek pulls another upset.
It’s bad news for the winner of Jones County and Warner Robins, with a trip to Creekside or Whitewater. Perry hopes Dougherty can beat Carver-Columbus, or the Panthers are heading west.
Peach County travels, regardless of who wins between Carver-Atlanta and Burke County.
Macon County is at home with a win, to face either Manchester or Wilcox County. And FPD is on the road no matter what, at either Fellowship Christian in Roswell or Calvary Day.
The championships are Dec. 9-11 at Georgia State’s Center Parc Stadium.
