Macon Touchdown Club picks a pair of Raiders and a pair of Greyhounds
The Macon Touchdown Club honored players from Northeast and Jones County as the latest players of the week.
Co-back: Northeast senior quarterback Travion Solomon completed 17 of 24 passes for 254 yards and a touchdown, also running 13 times for 72 yards and another score in the 26-20 victory over Haralson County.
Co-back: Jones County senior quarterback John Alan Richter was good on 29 of 36 passes for 347 and three touchdowns, adding five carries for 29 yards and two scores in the 66-42 win over Eastside.
Lineman: Junior noseguard Cadricus Stanley of Northeast had nine tackles, two for loss, in the Raiders' program-historic 26-20 win at Haralson County
Special teams: Jones County senior Evan West recovered three of his own onside kicks, had a touchdown-saving tackle on a kickoff return, was good on nine PATs, drilled a 45-yard field goal and 54-yard punt, with two touchbacks in the Greyhounds' 66-42 win over Eastside.
