Touchdown Club honors trio from Northeast, Mount de Sales, ACE
Northeast, Mount de Sales, and ACE earned the latest Macon Touchdown Club players of the week honors.
Back: Northeast senior quarterback Travion Solomon went 19-27 for 207 yards and a TD passing to go with 16 rushes for 164 yards and two scores. He racked up 371 yards total offense in leading the Raiders to a comeback 27-23 win at Washington County.
Lineman: Mount de Sales senior center/defensive tackle Trey Butts graded out at 96 percent with 10 pancakes on offense and had eight tackles on defense in the Cavs’ romp over Aquinas.
Special teams: ACE junior kicker Jake Prather had 3 kickoffs for touchbacks, a 40-yard field goa, and a net punting average of 47 yards – with two inside the 15 – in the Gryphons’ 30-14 win at Crawford County.
