          Brookstone put the opener away with four in the fifth and three in the sixth, getting a six-inning two-hitter. The Cavs were within 8-6 after an action-packed first three innings, but Brookstone took control with four in the fifth, aided along the way by eight MdS errors and seven unearned runs. Brooke Harwood drove in two runs for Mount de Sales.

          The Trojans lead 7-1 after three, getting a five-RBI, two hit night from Isabelle Pecorilli, and two hits from Gradie Appling and Lindsey Paul. Hailey Daughtry fanned six with no walks for the complete-game win. A pitchers’ duel for four innings turned into a Tattnall rout after that, the Trojans outscoring the visitors 12-3 in the final three innings. Appling drove in four runs on two hits and Daughtry two on two. Tattnall got two-hit games from Caroline Patterson, Pecorilli, Paul, Martha Kate Gillis, and Olivia Bridger.
