Macon Touchdown Club taps a Charger and two Knights

A win over a defending state champion and a clutch win at home led to Windsor and Central players being honored by the Macon Touchdown Club.

Co-back of the week: Senior QB/DB Jha'Rius of Central was 9 of 16 passing for 137 yards and a score, with 75 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the Chargers' 21-14 win over Sumter County, also racking up four tackles and a pass breakup plus a 38-yard average on three punts.

Co-back: Windsor senior quarterback Blayze Dennis was 8 of 14 passing for 157 yards and two touchdowns to go with 235 rushing yards and three scores on 29 tries in the 58-33 win over Westwood in GAPPS competition.

Lineman: Senior offensive lineman Elijah Heald of Windsor graded out at 90 percent, with seven pancake blocks in the win over Westwood.
