Houston County alum Trey Hill leaving early for the NFL
Trey Hill, an anchor during Houston County’s best run in program history and who showed versatility at Georgia, is ready for the next step.
Hill announced Monday that he is leaving Georgia early for the NFL.
He missed the final two games of the 2020 season because of injury, so his finale in Athens was against South Carolina.
He started 26 games at Georgia, 22 straight over the past two seasons. Hill transferred to Houston County from Macon County after his freshman, playing three seasons with the Bears, who went 20-13 in that span, including 18-5 during his sophomore and junior seasons.
