Signings
A trio of Northside athletes signed on Friday, Dillion Franks and Tyler Wilson to Livingstone (Division II in N.C.) to play baseball, and Nicole Morales to LaGrange for softball.
Alumni Update
Former FPD standout Maggie Moody is the scholar-athlete of the year at Piedmont College in Demorest.
She had a perfect GPA, was co-captain of the Lions’ women’s tennis team, handled two on-campus jobs, and is the president of the campus accounting honors society. Moody was 7-1 in singles and 8-2 as part of three doubles teams.
Piedmont was 11-2 when the season came to an end.
