          The Gryphons sealed it with six in the second for an 8-0 lead, Chandler Mitchell and J.D. Lewis teaming for a five-inning five-hitter. They struck out 11 with two walks. Fisher Timms, Chandler Mitchell, and Blake Smith had two hits each for ACE.


Bleckley County 3, Toombs County 0
          Brody Little, Peyton Wimberly, and Steven Knighton had two hits each for the Royals, who got single runs in the first, third, and fifth. Little struck out seven in six innings for the win.


Crawford County 8, Hawkinsville 2
FPD 1, Mount de Sales 0
          Three errors didn’t hurt the Cavs, who gave up the lone run on a walk, fielder’s choice, hit batter, and Dalton Cox’s run-scoring double to left. Austin Emener whiffed 18 with two walks for the Vikings, who managed only five hits against Jackson Taylor (9 Ks in 5.2 innings) and Kobe Butts.


Locust Grove 6, Houston County 2
          Locust Grove sealed it with three in the fifth. Treyson Hughes had two hits for the Bears, who had three errors.


Loganville Christian 3, Piedmont 2
Mary Persons 6, Jones County 4
          The visiting Bulldogs put up five in the seventh to storm back. Caden Swancey had three hits and two RBI for Mary Persons, Conner Watson adding two hits. The Greyhounds, who had a rough defensive night, got two hits from K. Baxter and Trent Hardy.


Monticello 11, Social Circle 0; Monticello 3, Social Circle 2
          The Hurricanes scored three in the first and added eight in the final three innings, Cole Hayes throwing a one-hitter in the opener, striking out 11. Tyler Wages had three hits, and Baylor Edge, Mac Barton, and Graeme Williams two each, Matt Cain with three RBI. Monticello survived a nightcap of 10 errors and eight hits, getting a six-inning relief stint from Myles Proctor, who battled and slowed down Social Circle. Tristan Humphries had two hits for Monticello.


Perry 12, Rutland 0
          Caleb Morgan threw 4.2 innings of no-hit ball as Perry got a four-hit, four-RBI game from leadoff Tanner Knowles, and three hits and two RBI from Colby McCleese, and two hits and two RBI from Tyler Newhouse.

          Dawson Brown’s two-out single to left brought in Benjamin Stubbs with the game-winner in the eighth. The Trojans tied it in the bottom of the seven on Brooks Gorman’s two-out double to left, scoring Hunter Alexander. Brown had three hits along with Clay Rowland, Gorman with two hits and two RBI. Gorman went seven innings with 10 strikeouts, Carter Fink getting the win with an inning of relief.

Thomas County Central 5, Veterans 2
          The hosts got all five in the second and never trailed. Clifford Pless had two of Veterans’ three hits.

Warner Robins 16, Peach County 1
          The hosts ended it with 10 runs in the third, Peach County with six errors in that short time. Walker Westmoreland threw a one-hitter in three, the Demons needing only seven hits. Reece Page had two RBI and scored three times.
