Morgan took the pass, dribbled downcourt and let loose an on-the-money 25-footer a hair before the buzzer for the game-winner. Valdosta, and former Upson-Lee head coach Darrell Lockhart, fell to 20-3 and 5-2, the Bears improving to 3-5 in region play.

Senior night was easy for the Demons (19-4), who led 40-9 at halftime after holding TCC to two second-quarter points. Fifteen Demons scored, and six hit 3-pointer.

The Golden Hawks were mighty solid in dumping the region rival to improve to 16-6 and 11-1, tying Dublin but losing the region tournament seeding coin flip and getting the second seed. Jarden Maze had the double-double for Washington County with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Caleb Moore added nine points and seven boards.
