Central Georgians in state all-star HS FB games
A number of area high school football players are participating in Sunday’s Georgia Elite Classic all-star games in Rome.
Action gets going at 10 a.m. with a seventh- and eighth-graders’ game, followed by 11th- and 12th-graders’ game, and then the 9th- and 10th-grade game.
More than a dozen Central Georgia seniors, juniors, and sophomores are on rosters, with three from Putnam County, Houston County, and Northside.

Alumni Update
Two Central Georgians earned their degrees at Georgia on Friday.
Houston County’s Trey Hill (football) and Mary Persons’ Carson Dingler (women’s track & field) were among the 33 UGA athletes earning undergrad or grad degrees in a virtual ceremony. Hill studied sport management and Dingler legal studies and risk management.
