Update on tickets and capacity for Jones County-Warner Robins

          As of Tuesday evening, the visitor was outselling the home team as far as tickets.

          Of course, tickets are at a premium for Friday night’s GHSA Class 5A semifinal game at McConnell-Talbert between Jones County and Warner Robins.

          Tickets are available at GoFan.com. at $15 per, and fans should designate home or visitor side.

          Under normal circumstances, an overflow crowd around 10,000 or so - a Warner Robins-Northside gathering - would be expected for a matchup highly anticipated in recent years with both programs’ resurgences. Last year, both teams reached the semifinals with the Demons advancing to their third straight championship game.

          Attendance on Friday night will be limited to about 2,100, roughly 35 percent of the 6,244-seat – as per GHSA measurements – facility. Warner Robins principal Chris McCook said temporary bleachers will be added to aid in social distancing.

          Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
