Signing Day, Dec. 2020: Central Georgia signings
Itβs been a quiet day so far for Central Georgia high school football signings, not unexpected considering the COVID circumstances.
The notable so far is Javaβn Singletary of Veterans, who entered the transfer portal for the second time in 2020 during the season to depart Georgia Southern in his sophomore year.
Singletary was signed by Kennesaw State, one of the top FCS programs in the country. Singletary had 22 tackles in four games in 2020 before leaving the team.
Other have signed, but will host signing ceremonies later today. Signings are sent to schools first thing in the morning on signing days, so pretty much anything after 9 a.m. is a ceremony.
In other sports, Jones Countyβs Bailey Taylor has signed to play baseball at Emmanuel.
Next update to come around 3 p.m.
