Last week: 13-7
Season: 157-53, 74.76
Within 7 points of margin: 8, 42 for the season
Upset specials: none

A note: The Sports Report policy is to max out picks at 39 points although some games could earn a predicted margin of victory in the 40s and 50s.

Class 6A

No. 3 Valdosta (3-3/1-0) at Houston County (5-3/0-1)

TSR pick: Valdosta by 15

No. 1 Lee County (6-1/1-0) at Northside (3-5/0-1)

TSR pick: Lee County by 30

Class 5A

Eagle’s Landing (0-7/0-4) at No. 10 Jones County (4-3/4-0)

TSR pick: Jones County by 31

No. 2 Warner Robins (6-1/1-0) at Wayne County (3-5/1-1)

TSR pick: Warner Robins by 28

Veterans (4-3/0-1) at No. 6 Coffee (6-2/1-1)

TSR pick: Coffee by 19

Class 4A

Rutland (1-5/0-3) at Howard (2-3/0-2), Ed DeFore, ppd

Perry (3-4/3-0) at Westside (3-2/1-1), Saturday, 1 p.m., Ed DeFore

Perry’s last trip to The Ed was a surprising 33-13 loss, the Seminoles clicking in all phases. That was non-region. This is region. Westside is still finding its identity, and Perry has more balance and momentum.

TSR pick: Perry by 11

Spalding (2-5/1-2) at No. 10 Baldwin (3-0/3-0)

TSR pick: Baldwin by 19

Class 3A

Central (4-2/4-0) at Pike County (1-5/0-4)

TSR pick: Central by 25

Mary Persons (3-4/1-3) at Upson-Lee (4-3/2-2)

TSR pick: Upson-Lee by 8

No. 3 Peach County (5-1/4-0) at Jackson (3-3/2-2)

TSR pick: Peach County by 33

Class AA

Bacon County (4-4/0-3) at East Laurens (3-3/0-2)

TSR pick: East Laurens by 2

Lamar County (3-5/1-3) at Monticello (2-5/1-2)

TSR pick: Lamar County by 14

No. 8 Northeast (5-1/3-0) at Dodge County (3-3/2-1)

The Indians are a 3-3 team that could be 5-1, or better. Northeast is playing as the hunted, a brand new position for the Raiders. Will they have that “big win” hangover? If so, Dodge County can take ‘em down, especially if post-TD conversions come into play.

TSR pick: Northeast by 2 (upset watch)

Jefferson County (4-2/4-0) at No. 7 Putnam County (7-0/4-0)

TSR pick: Putnam County by 16

Washington County (4-3/2-1) at No. 9 Bleckley County (6-2/3-1)

The Royals are no doubt agitated with last week’s late loss to Northeast. Or they’re a little down. The Golden Hawks are kind of overlooked a bit in the region, and would like to take out their one-point loss to Northeast on the Royals.

TSR pick: Washington County by 4

Class A

Dooly County (2-3/2-3) at Treutlen (1-6/0-5), Saturday

TSR pick: Dooly County by 18

No. 5 Dublin (6-1/5-0) at Johnson County (6-1/4-1)

Dublin has had some “on paper” matchups that looked like showdowns, and weren’t. Johnson County faces an explosive offense, and won’t have enough to slow it down.

TSR pick: Dublin by 24

FPD (4-3/2-0) at Deerfield-Windsor (2-5/0-2)

TSR pick: FPD by 4

GMC (5-3/2-1) at Warren County (4-2/1-1)

TSR pick: Warren County by 22

Hancock Central (3-0/2-0) at ACE (2-4/1-1)

TSR pick: Hancock Central by 27

No. 6 Macon County (6-1/5-0) at Manchester (3-5/2-3)

TSR pick: Macon County by 25

Strong Rock (4-3/1-1) at Mount de Sales (3-4/1-1)

TSR pick: Strong Rock by 12

Stratford (4-2/1-1) at Tattnall (3-4/1-1)

TSR pick: Stratford by 16

Wilcox County (6-2/5-1) at Hawkinsville (2-5/1-4)

TSR pick: Wilcox County by 22

Wilkinson County (1-4/1-1) at Crawford County (0-8/0-3)

TSR pick: Wilkinson County by 13

GISA

Creekside Christian (5-1) at Westfield (4-1-1)

TSR pick: Creekside Christian by 19

Gatewood (6-1) at King's Academy

TSR pick: Gatewood by 22

John Milledge (5-0) at Bethlehem Christian (1-5)

TSR pick: John Milledge by 39

Piedmont (6-1) at Brentwood (5-1)

TSR pick: Brentwood by 8

Pinewood (4-2/1-0) at Trinity Christian (0-6/0-2)

TSR pick: Pinewood by  24
