Weather worries lead to schedule changes

Concern about weather – about a 50 percent chance of rain, kickoff temps in the mid-70s - has led to some schedule changes this week.

East Laurens’ homecoming game this week against GMC has been postponed, and GMC picked up a game instead with neighbor John Hancock, a GAPPS program, in Sparta.

Bleckley County’s home game with Bleckley County is moved to Thursday, along with Wheeler County at Hawkinsville.

Down the line: Dublin-Hawkinsville to Saturday, Oct. 17, at 3:30 p.m.; GMC at Wilkinson County to Thursday, Oct. 15, 7 p.m.
