          An explosion late ended it in five. Chloe Nepveux had three hits and three RBI for MdS, while Sawyer Stuart had two hits, two RBI and three runs and Heartly Nepveux two hits and three RBI, Sarah Hatcher adding two hits. Chloe Nepveux struck out eight in four.

          Six in the fourth ended it early. Keely Bryant led Rutland with three hits, the Hurricanes getting two hits from Kaitlyn Greene, Taylor Stewart, and Lacey Caldwell, and two RBI from Bryant and Amber Summerday. Summerday struck out seven in five.

Tattnall 9, St. Vincent’s 0; Tattnall 16, Calvary Day 0

          The Trojans went up 8-0 after two in the opener, a five-inning one-hitter from Hailey Daughtry. Kaitlyn Hallman and Kaci Paul had two hits each, Hallman scoring twice and Paul driving in three runs. Seven walks helped Tattnall in the four-inning nightcap, with two-hit games from Grace Hiller, Paul, and Ana Land. Isabelle Pecorilli fanned five in three.
