Dublin 63, Wheeler County 12
Qua Ashley scored on a 15-yard run three minutes into the game, and was followed almost three minutes later by Josh Isaac's scoring run. TDs by Jaquarion Mundie and Markelle Mitchell gave Dublin a 28-0 lead after a quarter.
Isaac scored twice and Ashley once in the second quarter en route to a 49-6 halftime lead. That changed quickly in the third when Gabe Guyton took the second-half kickoff all the way back.
Dublin hosts Hawkinsville on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Henderson Hurdle drilled an 0-1 pitch to center for a two-out, two-run homer and the lead for Mount de Sales in the top of the eighth. Jordyn Partain gave up a leadoff single in the bottom half, and then retired three straight to seal the region semifinal win. Partain struck out nine, and added two RBI while Sawyer Stuart had two hits. Grace Hiller went 4 for 5 for Tattnall, Caroline Patterson adding two hits.

The Eagles turned a 2-1 first-inning deficit into the lead for good with two in the third on Taylor Justice’s two-run homer to center. Caroline Patterson, Grace Hiller and Kaitlyn Hallman had two hits each for Tattnall, which stranded nine. Kenna McElmurray got the complete-game win.

Alyssa Jones struck out eight in throwing a perfect game, adding a three-run homer along the way. Emma Riner had three hits and Hudson Smith two for the Raiders (23-3/11-1). The Raiders host Baldwin in a Wednesday doubleheader.

The Greyhounds lost to the region’s top seed in the tournament, and play Thursday at 5:30 p.m. against Dutchtown or Eagles Landing.
