Macon Hall of Fame to grow with 2019 class
From Mercer to Georgia Southern, encompassing products from defunct high schools and still-active schools, the Macon Sports Hall of Fame will induct eight new members on Tuesday.

Stratford eyes third straight title
Rain altered the schedule for the GHSA state tennis championships, and Stratford’s boys have a slightly shorter road trip.
The Eagles will take on Paideia at 4 p.m Tuesday at the DeKalb Tennis Center for the Class A Private title.
Stratford beat Paideia 3-1 in last year’s championship. The Eagles topped Mt. Paran 3-2 a year earlier.
That followed a first-round loss in 2016.
