Bleckley County 7, Westside 2
          The Royals led 3-0 after three and squelched Westside, other than two in the fourth, to win the Class AA series. Dylan Cowart was efficient on the mount, going the distance on only 69 pitches. Lane Kitchens, Jack Fernandez, and Steven Knighton each had two hits for the Royals, Knighton and Andrew Thompson with two hits each.

Brentwood 2, Terrell 1
          Tanner Gheesling’s single to center brought in Cody Cullens with the eventual game-winner in the sixth for Brentwood in the GISA series opener.

Calvary Day 9, FPD 7
          The Vikings led 2-1 after two and 5-1 after four and 6-4 after five. Then Calvary Day exploded for five runs in the bottom of the sixth to win the Class A Private series finale, despite five errors. FPD got a two-out run in the top of the seventh, but stranded runners at second and third. Parker Ingram and Chet Thompson had two hits each for FPD, Thompson driving in two runs and Ingram scoring twice. The Vikings walked 10 times and stranded 10 runners, to seven for Calvary Day.

CFCA 12, Fullington  2; CFCA 12, Fullington 5
          The Lancers got all they needed with three in the first, outhitting Fullington by 10 as well. Triston Thompson, Landon Gallaher, Caleb Johns, and Jeb Watts had two hits each for CFCA, Thompson and Gallaher driving in three each. Dawson Ezell went all five innings for the win. The Lancers put the nightcap away with five in the sixth. Dalton Keys, Cole Phillips, Gallaher, and Johns each had two hits to finish off the second-round GICAA series win.

John Milledge 4, Southland 1; JMA 8, Southland 4
          The Trojans win the GISA Class AAA series.

Irwin County 9, ACE 1
          The teams were in quiet a pitchers dual until the hosts put up seven in the fifth inning to take control, the Gryphons committing two errors and a catcher’s interference in the inning. The Indians held the Gryphons to just three hits.

Piedmont 10, Gatewood 0; Piedmont 8, Gatewood 2
          Piedmont outhit the Gatewood 21-8, and the Gators had six errors in two games, four in the nightcap leading to four unearned runs. Rob Allgood had four hits and Caleb Faircloth four RBI in the doubleheader for Piedmont. Sam Wright went all five, striking out seven with no walks, for the first-game win while Tate Marks had eight strikeouts and two walks in six innings of the nightcap. Tony Rudolph had two hits in the second game for Gatewood.

Westfield 11, Brookwood 8
          The Hornets took the lead in the GISA AAA series with a three-run fifth, adding a needed two in the sixth to survive four errors. Michael Fitzpatrick belted a two-run homer to tie the game and get the Hornets going. Matt Huckabee had two hits and Hunter Spence also had two RBI. Three pitchers did work for Westfield, stranding 12 Brookwood runners (Brookwood walked six times and had three more hits).

Woodward Acad. 5, Upson-Lee 2
          Upson-Lee’s two-run first inning was a lead it kept – as the home team after a coin flip – for three innings, and that was it. Woodward scored five – boosted by a two-out grand slam - in the fourth, and the Knights were finished, going down in order the final three innings of the Class 4A series finale. Chance Gamble had two hits and Turner Maddox two RBI for the Knights.
