Ward named S&C boss at Mercer
          Jeff Ward was announced as Mercer’s new director of strength and conditioning on Monday.

          Ward, who Tweeted the move back on March 22, held the same position at Georgia Southern after serving as assistant strength coach for the Eagles’ football team.

          Ward graduated from GSU in 2016, and is a North Gwinnett alum. He was a walk-on at GSU before earning a scholarship in 2014 and serving as captain a year later.
