Fitzgerald 8, Bleckley County 3

Jones County 7, Woodland-Stockbridge 5
          The Greyhounds from up 3-0 after one to down 5-3 after five, and then scored two in each of the final two innings to win. Chase Wright scored the game-winner on Dalton Chapman’s two-out infield single in the top of the seventh. Chapman, Colby Gordon, and Seth Daniels each had two hits for Jones County, Chapman with two RBI. The Greyhounds survived giving up 11 walks, stranding 12 Woodland runners.

Locust Grove 12, Veterans 2
          Things started off well for Veterans with two in the top of the first, but the hosts put up five in the bottom half and rolled from there with a two-hitter.

Loganville Christian 18, Gatewood 5
          It was 2-all after one, and Loganville blew it open with six in the second and two in the third.

Mary Persons 5, Upson-Lee 2
          Trippe Moore made a 4-0 lead after two innings stand up, with 12 strikeouts and a walk in a complete-game seven-hitter. Nate Howard drove in two runs and Conner Watson scored twice. Turner Maddox and two hits and two RBI for the Knight.

Spalding 11, Perry 1
          Spalding blew open a 6-1 game with five in the bottom of the sixth, the Panthers held to three hits.

Tattnall 4, FPD 0
          Brooks Gorman was on point with nine strikeouts and three walks in throwing the two-hit complete-game shutout on 92 pitches in the 7-A semifinal. The Trojans went small-ball with four hits, including an RBI double from Brett McHugh. Parker Ingram had both of FPD’s hits.

Warner Robins 4, Central 3
          Victor Nino opened the bottom of the eight with a walk, and Ethan Elliott drove in courtesy runner Hudson Martin in with the two-out game-winning single to center. Elliott had two hits and two runs, the Demons – who survived four errors - getting two-hit nights from Xavier McIntyre and Andrew McGee. Halavion Williams had three hits for Central, held to five hits by Reece Page, who had seven strikeouts in the complete game.

West Laurens 14, Howard 1
          The visitors were well in control before a seven-run seventh as Howard again struggled on the field, with six errors. Parker Woods drove in five runs with a double and homer, Paul Kellam adding two RBI and two runs. E.J. Holmes, Brody Slaughter, and Tyler Franks added two hits each. A.J. Mathis and Bradley Wilson teamed for a two-hitter and 12 strikeouts.
