Eastside didn’t get going until the sixth with a run, adding two in the seventh while getting a no-hitter.
Gatewood 10, John Milledge 3
The Gators took control with four in the third, with one run coming on Dylan Humphries’ steal of home. Humphries went 3-for-3 with three RBI, and Tony Rudolph added two hits and two RBI, Logan Merritt adding two RBI. Seth Bowden had two of JMA’s five hits
Houston County 7, St. Pius X 2
St. Pius pulled within two runs with one in the sixth, but the Bears clinched it with four in the seventh on small-ball: a single, sacrifice, three straight singles, a walk, error, wild pitch, and double. Coleman Williams had three hits and two RBI for the Bears, while Corbet Luna, Cameron Jones, Dylan Tabor, and Jaden Woods each had two hits. Woods was solid with a 7-K, 4-hit complete game.
Jones County 10, Union Grove 2
Eight runs in the middle innings propelled the Greyhounds, who got a 4-for-5, three-run, two-RBI game at leadoff from Colby Gordon and a nice pitching effort from Dawson Barnes.
Mount de Sales 8, ACE 2
The Cavs, who sealed it with four in the fifth and outhit the hosts 12-2, got two-hit games from Steele Bruce, Walker Schofield (two RBI), Rossman Diaz (four RBI), Andrew Craddock (two RBI), and Jackson Nebel, Nebel going the distance and striking out five with three walks.

The Trojans cruised behind two hits and two RBI from BJ Spears and Hunter Alexander, and four runs from Russ Miller.. Tattnall had just eight hits, countered by six Twiggs County errors and six walks in the three-inning game.
Valdosta 10, Northside 2, 10 inn.
All night long, the Wildcats and Eagles were in a pitchers duel. Then? Valdosta explodes for eight in the 10th, on three singles, two errors, a wild pitch and a homer. The Eagles gave up eight unearned runs on six errors.
Veterans 3, Perry 2
Perry tied it in the top of the seventh on Andrew Newhouse’s infield single, but Veterans got the walk-off on Blake Etheridge’s leadoff triple and Jackson Williams’ one-out single to center. Newhouse had two hits for Perry, while Ethridge and Clifford Press had three each for Veterans. Williams whiffed 10 and walked two in 6.2 innings, while Ethridge got the final out.
