The Eagles were outhit 15-7, but came up clutch in the seventh. Simon Grant had four hits and Deronte Stewart three for Peach County, Eric Johnson and Dylan Perry adding two each.

Gainesville 5, Bleckley County 1

Howard 6, Rutland 1

The Huskies got three in the first. Pitchers Spencer Moon and Christian Arnett teamed for nine strikeouts and a one-hitter. Trent Brown led Howard with two hits and two RBI.

Houston County 4, Grayson 3

Stratford 8, Monticello 7

Carson Dorsey belted a clutch grand slam in the third to get the lead, and Stetson Hatcher added the game-winning two-run bomb in the fifth.
