The Trojans put the opener away with four in the fifth and three in the sixth, Aderrius Barron and Devin Cato with three hits each, and two-hit games from Drew Stout, Jonah Stout, and Logan Sharpton. Taylor County got revenge with late-game offense, two in the fifth and four in the sixth. Nathan Patterson and Hunter Moore had three hits each for the Vikigs, Pattersn with three RBI.
Morgan County 12, Mary Persons 2
It was small ball for the hosts, who put up a dozen on six hits, seven walks, and one MP error.
Northside 19, Americus-Sumter 0
Tyler Wilson fanned nine with a walk in a four-inning no-hitter, and added a 4-for-4 day at the plate with three RBI. Jacob Catey chipped in six RBI on three hitsJavier Rodriguez added two hits, two RBI and three runs.
Upson-Lee 11, Manchester 1
Chance Gamble had two hits, runs, and errors from leadoff and Brooks Gulley did the same lower in the lineup for the Knights, who took advantage of three errors and six walks.
Westfield 12, Gatewood 0
The Hornets were blanked in the first, and did the blanking after that, aided by six Gatewood errors and in spite of four Westfield boots.
