Warner Robins, Jones County, Dublin basketball games changed

          With the football teams in the state semifinals, the Friday night varsity basketball games for Warner Robins, Jones County, and Dublin have been changed.

          Warner Robins’ trip to the south part of town to Houston County has been moved up a day to Thursday night at 6 p.m.

          Jones County’s visit to Eagles Landing has been moved to 6 p.m. Saturday. And Dublin entertaining Bleckley County is now on Thursday.

 

Mary Persons’ Wachtel keeps rolling

          A month after winning the GHSA Class 4A boys cross country championship, Mary Persons’ Justin Wachtel is back at it.

          He finished fourth in the Foot Locker South race on Saturday in Charlotte, five seconds out of first. That qualified him the Foot Locker Nationals on Dec. 14 in San Diego.
