Georgia wideout George Pickens served a first-half team suspension, and then was ejected in the third quarter for a fight with Tech’s Tre Swilling, who wasn’t ejected.
And D’Andre Swift went out with an apparently serious injury while fumbling near the goal line. It was a shoulder, and he’s expected to be close to 100 percent for the SEC championship.
The banged-up and young Jackets finished 3-9 in Geoff Collins’ first season.
