Duke rolls past FVSU in exhibition

The result was a given, but a Fort Valley State playing at Duke is still a huge deal for the Wildcats.

Duke improved on the perimeter and cruised to a 126-57 win over FVSU in an exhibition men’s basketball game at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

United stunned at home

Atlanta started well, butToronto did better the rest of the way and shocked the United 2-1 in the Eastern Conference finals of the MLS playoffs.

Had they won, the United would have hosted the MLS Cup for the second straight year.

Westside alum Moore given waiver, immediately eligible at Clemson

Khavon Moore checked in at Clemson back in May, but only got the good news on Wednesday that he’s eligible for this season.
