Class 5A
Jones County 38, Eagle's Landing 20
The Greyhounds sit alone atop Region 4, a game up on Dutchtown, which put Stockbridge two games down with Friday’s 33-7 win. Andrew Carner ran for two touchdowns and Jontavis Robertson one, quarterback Hunter Costlow ran for a touchdown and passed for one, Evan West adding a 25-yard field goal.
Warner Robins 28, Bainbridge 21
The Demons (8-1/3-0) took a 13-7 lead on two short Jalen Addie runs, but Bainbridge (5-3/0-2) came back in the third quarter with two touchdowns, one on a blocked punt deep in Demon territory, and led 21-13 with 7:42 left in the third. The Demons tied it right after that on an 80-yard pass from Addie to Kaleb Howard, and Addie hit Ahmad Walker with the game-tying conversion. Walker came up big with a short scoring run to end an 81-yard drive with 8:47 left in the game. Addie accounted for 200 yards in the air and 77 on the ground. Warner Robins outgained Bainbridge 201-42 on the ground and by 25 yards in the air, and the Demons made all three fourth-down conversions. Class 4A
Baldwin 44, Burke County 30

Perry 38, Spalding 0
Mikiel Kendrick’s run of just more than 10 yards got the Panthers going pretty early. He added a 20-yarder midway through the second quarter, about five minutes before Lane Rucker connected with Curtis Head for a 30-yard score and a 21-0 halftime lead. Perry (5-3/3-0) recorded its first shutout since 43-0 over Monroe in Game 4 last year. The Panthers have outscored their last three opponents 100-29.
Upson-Lee 13, Howard 7

Howard tied it at 7 in the third quarter, but the Knights took the lead in the fourth quarter. The Huskies have lost three straight – getting outscored 96-28 - to fall to 0-3 in region and 4-4 overall, putting their playoff hopes on life support.
West Laurens 52, Mary Persons 7
Photo: West Laurens Football/Facebook
It was a big-time scrapbook night for the Raiders, who are now 3-14 against the Bulldogs. West Laurens’ previous high in the series was 31 points in a three-point loss in 2013, and it was some revenge for last year’s 52-13 loss. It was the sixth-most points in program history, and tied the seventh-largest margin of victory. On the other hand, it tied the most points allowed in Mary Persons history (dating back to 52-0 to R.E. Lee in 1943), and tied the sixth-largest margin of defeat (1959).
It was 7-7 after an A.J. Mathis TD pass to Brent Carr, followed by Rico Harden picking Mathis off and taking it back 60 yards, for a tie almost four minutes into the second quarter. The Raiders countered with a pickoff and then 60-yard TD pass to Bradley Wilson for only a seven-point halftime lead. Then came the third quarter, and three Raider touchdowns – two short Daniel Dorsey runs and a long Shonta Burney Jr. run, - to put it away, the first two scores sparked by two more interceptions, from Exzavier Lewis and Devonte Royals.
Class 3A
Peach County 57, Central 20
The Trojans (7-1/4-0) passed the 50-point mark for the third time this season en route to another running clock, but the Chargers (2-7/2-3) put up the second-most points this season against Peach County. Tijah Woolfolk’s 94 yards rushing topped the Trojans who got 231 yards in the air on Jaydon Gibson, who was 10 of 13. Five completions went to Dorrian Smith for 197 yards. Central quarterback Jalik Thomas ran 24 times for 134 yards, losing a boatload in sack losses, and completed 9 of 23 passes fof 124 yards.
Westside 57, Kendrick 20
The Seminoles are in sole possession of third in Region 4 at 3-1, 5-3 overall.
Class AA
Bremen 34, Lamar County 7
The Trojans (6-2/2-2) lost their second straight, and have fallen the past two times to Bremen (5-3/3-1) by scores different by a point, 35-7 last year.
Dodge County 34, East Laurens 14
It was the closest loss for East Laurens (1-7/0-4) in region play since falling 28-23 to Bleckley County in 2016. Dodge County (4-5/3-2) clinched the fourth playoff spot in Region 3.
Dublin 56, Northeast 21
Dublin (8-0/5-0) cruised, but didn’t necessarily run away, the Raiders putting up a fight after falling behind 21-0, although it was 34-6 at halftime. Dublin racked up 419 yards on 49 carries. JaQues Evans scored a third of the time he ran, with six touchdowns and 180 yards on 18 carries. Marcus Adams added 151 and one on 12. Northeast managed 149 yards in the air from Travion Solomon, who had three TD passes to Brandon Watkins, the Raiders scoring the third-most points against Dublin this year.
Evans is as verstaile as anybody in Central Georgia, as Northeast saw Friday night.

Elbert County 35, Monticello 18
Putnam County 24, Banks County 13
The War Eagles (4-4/3-2) came up with a huge road win, their second in a row this season and first over a playoff-caliber region team since 2011, when they beat fifth-place and 5-5/4-4 Pike County 12-7, which came two weeks after a 17-7 win over Morgan County, which finished third and went 8-3. Banks County and Putnam County were 2-2 in region play entering the game, so the War Eagles are in at least a tie for third.
Washington County 65, Southwest 22
The trip to Macon was a fun one, the Golden Hawks (6-2/3-1) passing the 60-point mark for the second time this season. Southwest (2-6/0-4) lost its fifth straight after Shamarcus Poole ran 15 times for 156 yards and three touchdowns to reach 1,151 yards for the year, plus 17 touchdowns. Malyk Walker added 143 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries, and is 16 yards from 1,000 for the season.

Another missed conversion made it a three-point game. A 9-yard punt on fourth and 17 gave Wilkinson County the ball on Stratford’s 25 with 83 seconds left.
