Weather changes: FVSU changes homecoming kickoff
With impending weather issues, Fort Valley State moved up the kickoff of its homecoming game Saturday against Morehouse has been moved up 90 minutes from 2 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Middle Georgia State’s soccer matches have been moved to Nov. 5 and 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wesleyan’s soccer match is now at 5 p.m.

The Bulldogs took an 8-4 lead after three and put up seven in the sixth to seal their trip to Columbus, thanks in part to five errors that led to seven unearned runs. Whitley Ward went 4 for 5 and Makenna Talcott belted a grand slam to lead the Bulldogs. Mary Katherine Lawrence, Leah Jannakos, and Josie Deason each added two hits, with two-RBI games from Riley Barsby, Ward, and Lawrence.
