Central 11, Peach County 9
The hosts scored 10 in the second for a 10-6 lead and had to hold off the Trojans, who couldn’t overcome five errors and four unearned runs. Zurri Davis had three hits for Central, with two-hit games from Shaynoia Lockett, Dana Walker, and Kamari Elliams. Eryn Bailey and Alex Scott had two hits each for Peach County, Scott with three RBI.
Hawkinsville 16, Manchester 5
The Red Devils turned a 7-5 game into a late route with nine in the fifth and sixth innings, the teams combining for 11 errors and 16 unearned runs (12 for Manchester). Kaitlyn Newman sat down eight with two walks on four hits, four unearned runs. Ashanti Edwards, Samantha Lancaster, and Newman had four hits each, Lancaster with five RBI, Newman with three, and Edwards with two. Mary Clair Daniell added two hits and Bailey McLeod two RBI.
Houston County 4, Lee County 3; Lee County 14, Houston County 4
The Bears held off the Trojans after taking a 4-2 lead after two, Lee County scoring two in the fourth but unable to do anything with runners, being sat down in order in the fifth and seventh by Rylee Lamb, and stranding a runner in the fifth and seventh. Makayla Krepps, Kendall Huelsman, and Ansley Garland had two hits each for the Bears, Lamb holding Lee County to four with six strikeouts and four walks. Krepps drove in two runs and Alice Thomas scored twice. The Bears led the second game 1-0 after one, but the Trojans started rolling and scored in the next five innings. Bobbi Poff had two of Houston County’s eight hits.
Marion County 7, Taylor County 0
Northside 13, Valdosta 2
The Eagles put it away in three innings. Madelyne Lee, Celena Luna, and Nicole Morales led the 11-hit Eagle attack with two hits each, two-RBI games coming from Ayma Smith, Casey Ruffin, Sierra Franioli, and Kadie Martin. Mallory Gordy went four innings for the win.
Northside 17, Valdosta 0
The Eagles needed only three innings, and Celena Luna was perfect for those three innings, with seven strikeouts. She wasn’t bad at the plate, with a first-inning two-run homer and four RBI overall as the Eagles batted way around for 13 runs. Ayma Smith went 3 for 3 with three runs, Madelyne Lee and Mallory Gordy had two hits and three runs each, Casey Ruffin with two hits and Sierra Franioli adding two RBI. The Eagles clinched a playoff spot with the sweep of Lee County and Valdosta.
Rutland 13, Central 1
The Hurricanes put together a pair of consecutive five-run innings together to seal the four-inning win. Amber Summerday and Hannah Pelt had three hits each, Pelt and Alexis Hollis driving in three runs apiece. Lacey Caldwell and Taylor Stewart had two hits, Stewart scoring three times. Hannah Scott added two RBI. Summerday struck out eight with no walks in the four-inning two-hitter.
Schley County 12, Crawford County 2
Schley County survived a whopping seven errors, thanks to two-hit pitching and four Crawford County errors.
Stratford 12, GMC 5
A seven-run fourth put the Eagles up 9-5 and they added three in the sixth, winning despite being outhit by one with one more error. Mary Elaine Mitchell and Kenna McElmurray had three hits each, McElmurray driving in six runs and Mitchell scoring three times. Haley Grace Cole had two hits and two RBI, and Shelby Bandt three runs and two RBI. McElmurray fanned four with no walks, stranding nine Bulldogs on 12 hits. Makenne Talcott, Mary Katherine Lawrence, Bella Herring, and Mallory Watts added two-hit nights to the 3-for-3 game of Kyra Dobler, who drove in three runs.
Stratford 5, Mount de Sales 4, 9 innings
Shorter McCook led off the top of the ninth with an infield single, advanced on Haley Grace Cole’s sacrifice, and came in an out later on Mary Spencer Reeves’ single to right for the lead. Kenna McElmurray then needed 12 pitches to finish off Mount de Sales in the bottom half and earn a spot in the 7-A tournament championship. The Cavs got single runs in the first and fourth, then Stratford tied it with two in the sixth and they both scored two in the seventh. The Cavs put together a single, hit batter, single, and error to tie it. McCook had two hit and two runs, Reeves two hits and two RBI, while Taylor Justice drove in two runs on two hits and Shelby Bandt added two hits for the Eagles. Jordyn Partain led MdS with three hits and two RBI, while Henderson Hurdle, Sarah Hatcher, and Emma Carter had two hits each. McElmurray struck out 10 with a walk in nine innings and 122 pitches, while Partain whiffed eight with no walks on 105 pitches.
Region 1-6A
Houston County visits Lee County at 5 p.m. Wednesday for the region title.
Region 7-A
Stratford and Tattnall will play for the region title at 5 p.m. on Thursday at Stratford, with a game to follow if necessary.

Harmony Nagle led Stratford with 29 digs and 10 kills, while Taylor Gumbart added nine aces and 15 assists.
