Veterans' Lee, Dodge County's Bush take national honors

A pair of Central Georgians who impacted their football teams with their feet have some All-American honors to add to their resume.
Peyton Bush
Dodge County’s Peyton Bush and Veterans’ Parker Lee have been named Ray Guy High School All-Americans. They’re among nine kickers and 11 punters from across the nation to be named.
Bush made the kickers’ list and Lee the punters. Jack Breedlove of Maynard-Jackson at kicker and Kevin Jones of Harlem at punter were two other Georgians named.
Peach County alum Mitchell Fineran made the kicker and combo kicker-punter lists last year.
Parker Lee
According to stats input to MaxPreps: Bush was 10 for 12 on field goals with a long of 46, putting him fourth in the state in accuracy among those with at least 10 attempts.
And Lee led the state with an average of 45.9 – edging Lakeview-Oglethorpe’s Charles Harless by a third of a yard – on 33 punts. Bush was fourth with a 42.7 average.
