HSFB 2018: polls and predictions - who moved up, and who will win Friday

HSFB 2018: polls and predictions - who moved up, and who will win Friday

Maxwell Projection underneath polls

One set of pollsters put a little more oomph into Northside’s loss to Peach County, so last week’s loss to Jones County dropped the Eagles into the world of the unranked.

The Eagles are out of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Class 6A poll after falling 35-27 to top-5 Class 5A Jones County, and are hanging in at No. 8 in the Georgia Sports Writers Association poll.

Washington County is in the AJC list and on the verge of joining the GSWA group.

Dodge County picked up two spots in one poll and one in the other after knocking off 4A West Laurens.

Peach County lost a hair of ground, falling into a tie for third in 3A in one poll and staying put there in the other.

Probably a win away from getting in at least one poll are Washington County in AA,

But two more teams are getting votes, Houston County in 6A and Perry in 4A in the GSWA poll. The AJC doesn’t list vote-getters.

Dooly County is representing Class A, only because the AJC splits its polls between public and private. Otherwise, it’ll be a few weeks before the Bobcats are joined in either poll.
