Monday's Braves Report: Bad game, good news

Monday's Braves Report: Bad game, good news

A good news/bad news Monday for the Braves

Atlanta continued to struggle at home as Mike Foltynewciz struggled to throw home in the Braves’11-6 loss to St. Louis.

Atlanta fell to 38-37 at home, worst among NL contenders. The Braves have walked nearly 40 batters in five games.

Homeers by Koten Wong and Paul Dejong put the Cards in control. Atlanta scrapped back to within two, but Harrison Bader’s three-run homer took care of that.

Freddie Freeman struck out with the bases loaded in the eighth.
