Christian Heritage 10, Lamar County 9

          The Trojans trailed 7-5 after one, and couldn’t quite catch up. Paige Mayfield went 3-for-3, while Aishja Wilcher and Taylor Turner added two hits each and two RBI.

Hawkinsville 8, GMC 4, 10 innings

          The Red Devils put four across in the top of the 10th to beat GMC, which suffered from seven errors. Kirsten Wolters, placed on second, scored the first run on Belle Owens’ single and an error on Mary Claire Daniell’s pop to left, allowing Daniell to reach second. Owens scored on Danielle Powers’s single for a two-run lead. Powers had three hits and two RBI for Hawkinsville. Cade Bass led GMC with three hits, and Jordan Waller had two hits and three RBI.

Houston County 5, Rutland 3

          Houston County lead 5-0 after three, and Rylee Lamb gave up four hits.

Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe 3, Tattnall 0

          Logan Oller got two of Tattnall’s five hits, the Trojans stranding six runners.

Northside 12, Valdosta 0; Northside 17, Valdosta 2

          The Eagles took advantage of five errors and six walks, needing only three hits. Kylee Ussery struck out five in the four-inning opener win. It was a 13-0 game after two, the Wildcats committing seven errors in four innings. Stephaie Ruffin and Celena Luna each had two hits and three RBI, Miranda Campbell and Amya Smith with two hits each.

Rutland 8, Houston County 7

          Rutland’s five run third put the Hurricanes on top, and they held on. Rutland’s top four batters in the lineup – Kinleigh King, Breasia Davis, Bailey Caldwell, and Keely Bryant – each had two hits, while Davis, Sadi Ratterree, and Amber Summerday drove in two runs each. Makayla Krepps went 4-for-4 with four RBI for Houston County.

Stephens County 5, Jones County 4

          Stephens County saved the best for last, really last, with five runs in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off win. Mayson Watford and Madison Bennett had two hits each for Jones County, which struck out 11 times.

Tattnall 8, Social Circle 5

          Tattnall trailed 4-3 after one, and then eased ahead with three in the second. Courtney Ball and Kenna Epps each had two hits and three RBI, and Kaitlyn Hallman had two hits and three runs. Epps got the five-inning win.

Gordon Lee 6, Tattnall 3

          Gordon Lee put five cross in the fifth and survived two errors by also striking out nine Tattnall batters. Logan Oller was 2-for-3 for Tattnall.

Gordon Lee 8, Lamar County 1

          Aishja Wilcher had two hits for the Trojans.

Houston County 5, Rutland 3

          Madi Campbell’s 3-for-3 effort with two RBI led Houston County. Alice Thomas had two hits and Lauren Ross two RBI, and Rylee Lamb threw a four-hitter.

Jones County 13, Norcross 3

          Brenay Howard, Kloey Goins, and Stephanie Youngblood  all had three hits and they combined for 10 RBI for the Greyhounds.

Jones County 5, Oconee 4

          Destin Howard went 3-for-4, and Mayson Watford, Madison Bennett, Kloey Goins, and Brenay Howard each had two hits for Jones County, which led for good after two innings.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 3, Lamar County 2

          LFO won on a walk-off no-out single to left, spoiling a 3-for-4 day from Aishja Wilcher.

Lamar County 10, Cass 8

          Cass’s 7-run fourth was too late. Ryla Traylor went 3-for-3 with three runs for Lamar County, Brnkley Yevak, Kelyse Harris, Paige Mayfield, and Carissa Thompson each adding two hits.

Tattnall 7, North Murray 1

          The Trojans put it away with six in the third. Kaitlyn Hallman and Courtney Ball had two hits and Kaci Paul two RBI for Tattnall, Kenna Epps throwing a three-hitter.
