The Demons jumped out to a 15-5 first-quarter lead and closed things out with a 17-9 fourth quarter. Trevon Williams led the way with 12 points while Keshun Houser added 11. Jameson Bryant topped the Greyhounds (4-1) with 11, as the teams combined for five 3-pointers. Jones County, which hosts Monticello on Tuesday, was 20 of 46 from the floor and 7 of 14 from the line and got nine rebounds from Chavis Mathis. The Demons improved to 3-0 and host Houston County on Thursday.
B-Westside 72, Northside 47
Javian Mosley’s 27 led the Seminoles, Kowacie Reves adding 24. The Seminoles host Southwest on Tuesday.
